Always informative.
Devin is very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of Social Security. As a result of listening to these podcasts, my wife and I have recently decided to engage in Devin‘s professional services. Together with John, they make for a very listenable and informative podcast experience. I highly recommend this!!

How handle retirement
Loved the information about not panicking with market ups and downs. Needed to hear this advice. I’m 64, so getting close to retiring and am having the thoughts being discussed. Thanks for the great info❤️

Always informative.
Devin is very knowledgeable about the in and out of Social Security. This is a much listen podcast.

The best of financial and estate planning
I have been listening from the very beginning and was distraught when the guys took a break. This is some of the best info around. Devin is a whiz with Social Security and financial planning, and John Ross Esq. provides the in depth estate planning and legal advice that most attorneys don't get down into. Thanks Guys and keep it up!!

Well presented with great retirement information!
I’ve been a fan of this show as far back as 2019 I believe. Always interesting topics worth listening to.

Worth listening
Worth listening to. Always learn something new!

Great information, no sales pitch
Some retirement and investing podcasts have gone too far in terms of being a sales pitch for advisory services. This podcast does not do that but rather dispenses high-quality in-depth analysis from experts.

Good podcast
This podcast is always entertaining and more importantly informative, thanks guys

Big Picture Retirement is a great podcast!!
The hosts present valuable information in an entertaining format! I look forward to each new episode.

They Know Their Stuff
What are you paying for when you hire a “Wealth” Advisor or Financial Advisor. Mimicking the indices isn’t it! As we get older (I’m 66) you need insight and possibly advice on tax strategies to minimize your income in some years and take advantage of lower tax years. If you don’t know about IRMAA (Medicare additional payment for ‘high’ income earners; it’s time to learn). If you don’t know about Roth Rollover IRAs you might start learning. I’m a dusty Chartered Financial Analyst but the ins and outs of RMDs, IRMAA, and Roths is exhausting.

I continue to learn with every episode!
I just listened to 2 podcasts on trusts again. I just keep learning. John and Devan make the most complicated topics easy to understand. Thanks so much to both of you. I share your podcast whenever I can. Ann

One of the top three financial podcasts I listen to.
Great info and with enough levity to keep one entertained! John and the angry Subaru, Classic! Definitely agree on the basis of the podcast about difficulty spending. Developing the plan is critical. Have to plan to succeed. Adding new car every ten years to mine now.

Truthfully Said
I was fortunate enough to have and Uncle that encouraged me to start saving at 10 years old when I earned a few bucks helping him. It was very difficult to stop saving upon retirement at age 55. I still pigeon hole a few bucks here or there even today, but I’ve learned that money is irrelevant after death, so I tend to spend it as it arrives for fun things after covering bills. I encourage everyone to retire as soon as possible and start every morning like a Saturday morning! After 15 years in retirement I’m totally at ease now! Enjoyed the podcast.

Timely Retirement Info
Great information, Great examples too. Thank you!

excellent podcast
Trust Devon's and John's info on retirement, always will. Agree that spending in retirement is a very hard thing to come to grips with for retirees

Excellent show
Very insightful information to help adjust to retirement spending wisely and confidently.

Great information
I do believe you’re serving the people who want to grow a better understanding of retirement life and getting to this goal in the first place.

Knowledgeable duo. Always learn something new.

Superb
This is my favorite podcast of all the ones I've listened to thus far. This is the only retirement podcast I listen to that can make me laugh on a regular basis. Extremely good information and a ton of food for thought especially when it comes to estate planning. Even though I'm in my late thirties this is excellent information. Keep up the great work.

Rational perspectives on
As a person who has been an old-fashioned buy and hold, don't spend your principal type investor and saver since I was a teenager, and having basically intuited that trading and trying to out-think markets is a fool's game for 99.999% of people, and that slow and steady was the best fit for my personality, I find the Big Picture podcast a useful source of information consistent with the general plan we've followed and are executing in our retirement. The gentlemen are entertaining, albeit sometimes a bit more merry than one might expect from green-eyeshade types, but I find the time spent listening is well worthwhile. I've learned things and I've confirmed that things I thought I had learned were correct. The appropriate audience will be the person who has been fortunate enough to be able to save for retirement in the first place, and who can devote appropriate time and attention to the problems of arranging his/her affairs sensibly in the retirement phase of life. They also do not seem to be trying to purvey finance entertainment porn or monetize the greed/fear of an uninformed audience.

Love it
Great information!

100% AGREEMENT
I agree with Devin and will even go so far as to say that they (the Government) WILL change the rules on ROTH IRAs. However it won't diminish the greater opportunities that you gain with a Roth. It is still and will remain a great tool in investment/ saving strategies.

I have learned so much!
Devon and John can make the most complicated subject easy to understand and always demonstrate how the issue could effect listeners. I am grateful for all the input they have shared. I highly recommend this podcast.

You get old, you have a little money, you retire, now you are paying attention
1. These guys definitely have a red state viewpoint which I do not, yet based on my net worth I presumably should. But I have yet to hear anything not correct. 2. Very entertaining -- but not foolishly -- they need to talk about sequence of return risk and multi-bucket strategies.

One of my favorites!
This podcast is one of my favorites—my only complaint is that I have to wait too long between podcasts! Both hosts are very knowledgeable about retirement, social security, Medicare, and taxes. They deliver helpful information clearly, with real life examples and a sense of humor.

Excellent Podcast
Your podcast is one of my favorite retirement related podcasts. Great source of information on retirement, social security and disability, delivered with a dash of humor. I always learn something from every podcast. Thanks!!
